One big disadvantage of Touchscreen used in smartphone is that some it become less responsive over a period of time giving you a hard time in dealing with the device. Recently my touch screen has become so unresponsive that it became very hard to interact through it. It’s counterpart, a mechanical keyboard used in an ordinary phone will last long. There are two types of touchscreen and one with capacitive touch screen has a less response time than the one that comes with resistive touch screen.
Before buying a smartphone for yourself, think about your requirements. If you have the minimum requirement of just calling and sending SMS, an ordinary QWERTY one will server the purpose. But if you are going for the high end, never compromise on price factor as the quality deteriorates when the price comes down. Base your buying decision on a good product review to get the best one apt for your communication process.
